SUMMIT COUNTY GOVERNMENT
INVITATION TO BID

Summit County Government is receiving sealed bids for the: HURON ROAD RESURFACING AND WIDENING PROJECT This project includes the following items of work:

• Reconstruction of approximately 2,200 linear
feet of an existing roadway
• Installation of approximately 300 linear feet of
RCP storm sewer
• Placement of approximately 1,200 linear feet
of concrete drainage pan
• Roadway platform widening to accommodate
a rec-path and bus stop

Said electronic submissions or sealed bids will be received at the office of the Summit County Road and Bridge Offices, 37 Peak One Drive, Suite 230, SCR 1005, Frisco, Colorado, 80443, P.O. Box 626, Frisco CO 80443 until February 27th, 2020 at 10:00AM local time.

At said time and place, all bids that have been duly received will be publicly opened and read aloud. The Contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder who best meets the requirement of Summit County and the public interest.

All bids shall be accompanied by bid guarantee in the amount of five percent (5%) of the base proposal bid. The bid guarantee shall be acceptable and payable without exception to Summit County with a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond.

A mandatory pre-bid conference is scheduled for February 12th, 2020 at 10:00am our time at the Summit County Road and Bridge Offices located at 37 Peak One Drive with a site visit to follow for interested parties.

The Summit County Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities or informalities, and to conduct such investigations or negotiations as it deems necessary to select the most responsible and responsive bid.
