Town of Silverthorne Notice of Disposition of Property Items of unclaimed property held by the Silverthorne Police Department scheduled for disposal are listed below. If you wish to submit a claim, you may do so by email. Your email can be sent to Email Me. If the owner fails to provide the Evidence Technician with an email for the return of the property within thirty (30) days of the date of this notice, the property shall become the sole property of the Town and any claim of the owner to such property shall be deemed forfeited (Town of Silverthorne Municipal Code Section 1-9-2). If the Evidence Technician receives a written claim within the thirty-day (30) period, the Evidence Technician shall evaluate the claim and give a return email notice to the claimant that the claim has been accepted or denied in whole or in part. The Evidence Technician may investigate the validity of a claim, and may request further supporting documentation (photos of item, receipts, etc.) from the claimant prior to disbursing or refusing to disburse the property.
