NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant to Section 5-210.E. of the Eagle County Land Use Regulations, as amended, that the Eagle County Planning Commission, County of Eagle, State of
Colorado, shall hold a public hearing on May 5, 2021 at the 500 Broadway St, Eagle, CO 81631.
Eagle County Planning Commission hearings begin at 3:00pm;
The Planning Commissions will consider the following:
Type of Application: Location and Extent for the Upper Eagle Regional Water Authority water
transmission line and water main replacement.
Description of Action: The Edwards Transmission Main Phase IIB project proposes to install
approximately 1800 Linear Feet (LF) of a 16" and 24" water main. The need for this new water main
was identified in Upper Eagle Regional Water Authority planning efforts. The current water system
requires improvements to increase capacity and increase redundancy along the Edwards Access
Road corridor. In addition to 1800 LF of pipe, this project includes railroad crossings, fire hydrants
and cathodic protection systems.
Location of Land: The project is located between 220 Edwards Access Road to 300 Edwards Access
Road. Encompassing approximately 1.2 acres within the road right-of-way.
To protect the health of our community members, in-person public hearing attendance is suspended until further notice. Community members can still continue to participate virtually andsubmit comments for all land use development permit applications.
